After arriving I was given a studio where I could work and create the body of work I felt took advantage of the peaceful environment that is Chateau d’Orquevaux. Located on the top floor of the Chateau, three massive skylights provided the natural light that bathed my practice every day. A deeply peaceful location only pleasantly tainted by the creak of the wooden floors beneath and the distant sound of the waterfalls on the lake outside the windows.
